Welcome to the Website of Councillor Kim Zippel
I hope everyone is keeping safe and healthy. We will get through this together and I am looking forward to re-connecting with you in person once it is safe to do so.
In the meantime, in addition to links posted in Happening Now on the home page, I wanted to provide some contact information and phone numbers for you in case you need to reach these organizations, agencies, or services during the pandemic. My goal is to keep the list updated with new information, all in one spot on my website, so you can avoid time searching around for these helpful community resources.
Thank you for all you are doing, by staying home and keeping safe!
Kim

The site is intended as a tool to engage, inform and inspire all residents of Otonabee Ward 1 (OW1). Think of it as YOUR website. Try it out and then provide feedback as to how we can make it better! Please explore the site to find answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ), learn about upcoming meetings as well as local events happening inside our Ward. To learn more about your Otonabee Ward councillor, Kim Zippel, please visit the Meet Kim page or better yet, visit our calendar page and join Kim at her next public event.
The website also hosts a blog where you have the opportunity to engage your neighbours and write about upcoming projects, share personal poems or highlight the wonderful people who live within our community. It is your opportunity to contribute something valuable!
The Ward map offers a fun, easy and interactive way to describe and publicly share places and projects you feel are important. Black markers indicate the boundaries of the ward and you can place your own markers on the map too! Instructions for using the map can be found under the Home page menu: How to Use the Map . Please visit the contact page if you have any questions about the ward boundary.
Please note that all markers are submitted to the website administrator prior to appearing on the map. Once your marker is submitted, an email will be forwarded with your request and you will see a message at the top of the map informing that your marker is awaiting approval. Please be patient as there may be several requests.
