Keeling Curve Monthly C02 Measurement

The KC Monthly CO2 Measurement is a signal for changes in planetary health that originates in the atmosphere. The signal is detected by earth-monitoring scientists measuring the atmosphere near the top of the world’s largest mountain in the middle of the world’s largest ocean.

By clicking on the image below, you will be able to link to the most current atmospheric COreadings.  The carbon dioxide measurements are made by two independent CO2 monitoring programs (NOAA and Scripps) at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii, about 3400 metres above sea level.

The Latest Daily CO2 reading is 418.93 ppm for January 13, 2022.
The reading for January 13, 2021 was 414.99 ppm.
The one year change is 3.94 ppm (0.95%).
